Mercury is preparing to do its thing... retrograde... are you ready?

The first backward dance of Mercury is about to happen; April 9, 2017 and goes until May 3, 2017.

When Mercury goes retrograde it may seem like all hell is breaking loose and we run for cover. If one does that, it becomes a self-fulfilled prophecy then, doesn't it? It really isn't that bad, or certainly doesn't have to be.

Why not be better prepared vs. ignoring it?

Why not acknowledge this inner gift and take advantage of this quiet time to do a bit of soul searching?

That's the gift of Mercury Retrograding. This time it hits in Taurus. While I am far from an astrology expert, I do known Taurus is the bull. The Gang is sharing that because mercury is hitting during this astrological sign, one can become more bull-headed or certainly encounter folks that are being bull headed.

IF this happens, take that literal and proverbial step back. Look at the larger picture. Why is one (including yourself) act this way? Is it out of fear? Is it out not feeling understood? Is it out of not feeling adequate? Is it...? All of these not so nice emotions can surface during a retrograde. 

Here are some of the more common hiccups that can occur during a Mercury in Retrograde, no matter your astrological sign:

• Miscommunication
• Electronics going haywire - best back up your computers
• Travel mishaps - lost tickets, canceled flights, etc.
• Crying jags

To make Mercury and its backward dance more effective for you, keep these tips in mind:

• If possible, do not sign any contracts
• Do not start a new endeavor (for this reason The Angel Chatter Authorization Course will not launch until early May)
• Eat more healthily - this gives you better fuel to handle the hiccups
• Rest
• Journal - get out those icky thoughts
• Allow your intuition/heart to guide you - tell the ego to go sit in the corner with a lollipop
• Take advantage of the quiet time to do some inner reflecting. Most lifestyles are incredibly busy these days... who has time to BE? Take the time now.

So is it all doom and gloom during a retrograde? Of course not. As with all things, it greatly depends on your interpretation and reaction to any event. IF there are contracts and deals lined up to happen during retrograde, as an example, just be sure to cross those 'T'  and dot those 'I'... Read every word on every page. If you don't understand something, ask! Keep asking until you do understand. Viola, no more mis-communication.
